Description:

These ruins of thermal baths, enveloped and almost hidden by the abundant vegetation, are of uncertain origin, probably dating back to medieval alterations carried out on pre-existing Roman works. They are built at the base of a high limestone cliff from whose cracks and cavities gushed warm sulphurous waters.
The sources that fed them are now usually dry, but following particularly rainy seasons, it is possible to see the water still oozing from the cavities above the site, which offer interesting stalactite formations.
